Sugar Lake Association is the focus of a common voice over issues surrounding our lake. The aim of the organization is to address the issues that concern all of us. Perhaps at the top of the list are issues over water quality. We chose Sugar Lake because of its proximity to the Twin Cities and the values of lake living. We chose Sugar because of clean water, and exceptional recreational opportunities.We hear stories about lakes clogged with milfoil and curly lead millpond weeds. Without your support, there would be no action to control this problem. No state or county agency accepts responsibility to limit its growth. Its up to you.Government affairs, lobbying to the issue of further challenging development of the lake, creating even more pressure on the quality of life it provides is another issue the association addresses.Many more areas are considered essential to maintaining our investment in our homes and life at the lake. All are areas the Association embraces- with your involvement. We are looking forward to your involvement with your time, talent and treasure. Please support your lake generously in all areas.
